ABOUT STEVE
Steven Hammon is an independent writer and creator with a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Culture and Media Studies from Griffith University and a Certificate in Training and Assessment.
While his professional background is in screenwriting and production, with multiple paid writing assignments and produced work, his curiosity extends far beyond story. He explores physics, AI, and interdisciplinary problem solving, drawing connections across fields to develop novel ideas.
His creative career includes having his writing produced by Jessica Alba and narrated by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, storyboards drawn by an artist from Return of the Jedi, a published body of writing and photography, a full music album, a live-action feature film, and several Python-based creative tools (including Blitz Writer, a rapid screenwriting program, and Baby Alpha Agent, an AI iteration novel idea generator).
He brings this same drive for clarity and innovation to his recent work in physics, where he has authored a white paper on the fundamentals of spacetime and cosmology.

Story has so many elements; with 6 levels of story development from concept to polish, character arcs linking with the theme, theme being crucial to the plot, character-driven stories with plots that echo the inner conflict, plot-driven stories that are elevated by the theme, subtext upon subtext, layers upon layers, etc. It can boggle the mind.
It's not easy to learn all this. It takes years, even decades, to understand how everything works together. Many people subconsciously know this stuff, but being able to get it to make sense on the page is virtually impossible without some way to turn it into words. But once it's on the page and it's as awesome as you envisioned, that's a feeling that's indescribable.
